Women White Cotton White Shirt Made in France

Brand’s Philosophy

In Greek, iméra means the “day” and takes its name from the Goddess Hemera, emblematic figure of mythology, personifying the light of day.

I chose the name iméra because I find it both soft, poetic and referring to the essence of the brand; quality clothes designed to be worn by women, every day.

I draw my inspiration from the photographic archives of the street styles of icons of the 1990s such as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy or Kate Moss, to create the pieces iméra which are an ode to all the women who influence my daily style and whose outfits I admire, mixing chic minimalism with this cool and nonchalant spirit that I love so much.

iméra is above all, a collection of timeless, durable and Made in France clothing; a sustainable wardrobe, opposite to fast fashion, but which never overlooks style. It is important for me to create clothes that can be adapted to women’s daily lives, which is why each piece is designed to be worn in multiple ways.

iméra is aimed at women who love fashion and who do not want to compromise between comfort, aesthetics and the eco-responsible dimension of the clothes they buy.

It’s a brand that lives with its time, which is why it’s 100% digital. In order to offer the fairest possible selling price, I have chosen to limit as much as possible the number of intermediaries involved in the process of creating the clothes. The brand is then sold exclusively on the site www.imera-paris.com

French confection

Each iméra clothe is made in France in workshops with whom I have a trusting relationship. Producing in France means calling on high-quality know-how from passionate craftsmen, but also returning to a more local economy.

In addition, French clothing has a non-negligible geographical advantage, allowing me to follow production closely and to get there easily.

I work as much as possible with suppliers in short circuits to minimize the ecological impact of the brand’s clothing.

Source of supplies used:

Fabric : Italy
Buttons : Spain
Labels : Portugal & France
Shipping packaging : France

Sustainable Commitments

It is important to me to produce eco-responsible clothing, both from an environmental and human aspect. From the fabric to the labels, every detail of the shirt has been thought out and made with care. The iméra clothes are also made exclusively of natural materials, the latter being more durable and more pleasant to wear because they are naturally breathable.

In order to limit the use of plastic packaging as much as possible, packages are sent in Kraft bags that are easily reusable and recyclable.

Sustainable materials

Corozo Buttons

The Corozo nut, also called Vegetable Ivory, comes from the Tagua palm trees in Ecuador.
Each tree can produce up to 25 kilos of nuts for 100 years. Tagua (Corozo) nut is the most eco-responsible and resistant material for the production of buttons.
Indeed, the fruit can only be harvested after falling from the tree, and its production is regulated to ensure the protection of the rainforest.

Cotton

I chose Albini as a supplier for iméracotton shirts. Albini is an Italian family business recognized for the quality of its fabrics and its eco-responsible commitments.
All Albini fabrics have the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification which guarantees the absence of toxic substances from the raw material to the finished product.

The Kate set is made from a high quality luxury deadstock italian fabric from a French Haute Couture House.

Packaging

I take as much care with the product as with its packaging, which is why I have made sure to reduce the use of plastic and synthetic materials as much as possible in labels and shipping packaging.
